Halloween Box

I when along to a craft workshop run by a friend of mine last week (I really should have went to line dancing as I really do need the exercise, however crafting will always win over exercise LOL)we were making Halloween boxes. The box is embossed using cuttlebug embossing folders and decorated with some cuttlebug dies. It did have a nice little Halloween tag, but it managed to fall off somewhere between the workshop and the car!

It was and still is full of sweets, but only because the boys don't know there are any in it :).

Hope you like it.

A few cards I have made!

Rain, Rain, Rain

Yet another 2 day's of rain here in not so sunny Scotland! It's school half term here and you can bet it will be sunny when they go back tomorrow.

Today I had a morning craft club and I thought I was going to be on my own as a lot of the ladies who come have children and were on holiday, however I wasn't alone and we had a really enjoyable session, although I was a bit embarrased when the handle fell off my Big Shot in the middle of a demo............I managed to catch the screw with one hand while holding the handle with the other (sometimes my reaction speed astounds me :) ). I thought all I had to do was screw it back in but it needed an allen key - not that I had a screwdriver anyway.....

I've been making some cards using the papers which came free with this months Making Cards Magazine. I'll post them later once I have photographed them!

Day trip to Cramond Beach (Edinburgh)

Today was the fist "nice" (and I use the term loosely as it was quite dull but no raining at least) weekend we have had in what feels like ages. We decided to drive through to Edinburgh and take a walk along the waterfront at Cramond (on the River Forth) I took the camera as I hoped to get some photo's but they didn't come out very well as it was very overcast.

The tide was in so we couldn't get to Cramond island, so we just walked along the front. I was horrified at what some people dump on the beach we saw, a blue wheelie bin, car wheels, trainers, a bag of potatoes (!) along with the usual plastic bags, bottles, crisp packets and empty beer cans which people just seem to abandon.
If you think people should take their rubbish home please leave a comment :)

Bella Toppers

I have been so busy added new stock to the shop that I haven't had time to update my blog (yes I know some of you who know me will say "knew you wouldn't have time" LOL!)
Anyway I did find time to play with my Bella stamps and made some toppers, I just love these stamps from http://www.stampingbella.com/ !
The girl in the Post Office was feeling poorly this week so I gave them to her to cheer her up and she was quite happy with her surprise!

I've done It!

At last I have manged to create a blog :)

I have been crafting for as long as I can remember but I just love cardmaking and have turned my passion into a business, although sadly this means I don't have as much time as I would like to make cards as I would like.

Above are some of the cards I made recently:-
