Some pictures of a scrapbook I made for my Nephew's 21st birthday, I didn't manage to photograph all the pages I did as it ended up being done in a bit of a rush....
The photo quality isn't very good (I'll blame the rush in trying to photograph it before I handed it over!) and it's much brighter in "real" life. He really did seem to like it and I was inundated with requests to make them for lot's of people at his party (I'm sure they were all drunk at the time LOL). Sadly I don't have the time to take personal orders for scrapbooks at the moment :(
He get's called G coz he's ginger!!

Christmas Flower Fairies on Dufex Card
These are the new flower fairies sheets from Dufex (the picture doesn't really do them justice - they are really shimmery) and they are mounted on the new Dufex Shimmer Christmas Card Blanks - Holly. These cards are A4 in size but when cut in half there is enough to make 8 A6 (A5 folded) cards so they are great value.
I think I'll be scrapping all weekend (yippee!) - I'll post some pic's when it's eventually finished.

Some Fairy cards
When these gorgeous new die cut fairy decoupage sheets by Caron Vinson arrived in the webshop I could wait to have a play and I thought they would go well with the square Deco Floursh cards (all available fro www.crafting-mad.co.uk).
Hope you like them.
The cards are preprinted with the scrolls, the decoupage sheets are die cut and the gems are self adhesive so these cards are really quick and easy to make :)

What a week!
It's been "one of those weeks", it started badly when I caught a cold and ended up in bed most of the weekend, then I had to do various family hospital runs.....
But it got better as we had a couple of family birthday's this week. We went for a meal to a lovely restaurant in Bathgate, well in the Bathgate hills. It was beautiful night so I had to take the camera and the views were magnificent, if it had just been that wee bit warmer we would had believed we were abroad not in Scotland!!
This is the Waterlilly restaurant (it's a wedding venue as well!), which sits's (like an island) on a reservoir full of fish!!

Views over the water......
My house.....LOL in my dreams maybe.....

A rare shot of all my "boy's" Dad, hubby and son's!
The meal was very good as well and I would recommend it, if ever you find yourself near Bathgate it's worth checking it out....especially if its a good day!
Here's a link for info http://www.thevu.co.uk/
I did manage to do a wee bit of crafting this week and will add some photo's later.

Hot Pink Gems!
We had some fun at craft club last night with a mega stamping session - I even managed to do some heat embossing which I must admit I am not very good at, but it turned out okay - I would show you but I actually gave it away (Grace I really should have done more on that sheet ;-), but I know you hate embossing more than I do LOL). I did however manage to get those around me covered it sparkly gold embossing powder....well the word is that bling is all the rage on cards at the moment ....not sure about faces!
I wore my lovely pinny (apron) that my son made for me in home economics's although I think he was a wee bit disgruntled by the fact that I didn't wear it when cooking and he asked if it wasn't good enough to be worn it the kitchen. My response was that I didn't want to get it wasted with food stains (forgot to mention the ink stains) and I wanted all the lovely ladies at craft club to see how clever he was! I think I managed to get away with it this time LOL!
I've added more stock to the webshop http://www.crafting-mad.co.uk/ today (lot's more Christmas stuff!) and speaking of bling we got these gorgous "hot pink" self adhesive gems in today and they are a stunning colour....I can't wait to try them out!
