One of my nephew's got engaged on holiday- which was a complete surprise - so I made this card for them.
The stamp is from Penny Black and I put some Glossy Accents on the roses just to make them stand out a bit more. The pink card is illusion card and you can't really see the effect, next layer was embossed using the cuttle bug bubbles embossing folder (at least I think that's what it's called!), Ribbon is from Stampin Up, vellum has been punched using the Martha Stewart doilly lace border punch (I did the insert with the same punch) which is on back order at the moment but hopefully we will have it in stock soon! The Flowers are Flora Doodles By Petaloo: Double Daisy Layers - Pink/Blue, we just got these in and I had to try them! The letters are peel-offs and the banner is from a mixed pack available from www.crafting-mad.co.uk. The corner stamped edges were from a set I have had for quite some time and I can't remember where I got them.
I hope they like the card.

Been a bad blogger!
Not been blogging since I came back from holiday! Excuses? Jet lack, chocked with the cold, joined the Gym and busy in the shop!
At least the cold is fading now, last week I felt like everyone was avoiding me - just because I kept sneezing and coughing but being asked if I had swine flu did start to annoy me just a little!
Hopefully I'll get back to the Gym this week :)
I've almost finished uploading all the new stock onto the website, still get some more Pergamano stuff to do and some other bit's and pieces but I'm getting there. Still waiting for more of the Martha Stewart punches to arrive, hopefully it won't be too long!
I did manage to make one card this week - see below. I must make an engagement card as one of my newphews got engaged :) while on holiday and they come back this week!
The main image is from some lovely samples I was sent (these I must order!!) the edges were punched using the Martha Stewart doilly punch (which is one of those on back order at the moment) and the clear gems are from my shop www.crafting-mad.co.uk
Hope you like it, off to make that engagement card, a wedding card and a birthday card and perhaps practice my watercolouring as I've been asked to give a demo tomorrow......

Mall At Millenia
Yesterday we when to the Mall at Millenia and it really is quite spectacular although very expensive, had a look in the Cartier and Tiffany shop's both only bough some candles and something from Bloomingdale's. Then of course Dad had to have Cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory!! Went for an Italian for dinner and M ordered a 10oz steak, Dad didn't think he would eat it and was looking forward to finishing it for him, however to our surprise he eat the lot and enjoyed every bit of it!!
You wanted more photos of the car....
This is the huge crawler which transports the shuttle to the launch bay it's enormous and this is M sitting on just one of the cleats.
A small engine.....
Today is our last full day and we've spent the morning swimming in the pool although it is a bit overcast. We might try and take in a show tonight, not sure what yet and I want to head back to downtown Disney for some final photo's if it's not raining. Then I guess I will have to pack the bags :(

Kennedy Space Centre
We went to Kennedy Space centre today didn't get back until quite late so we will phone tomorrow!
Took lots of photo's with the big camera but as they are too big to upload so I'll show you when we get back....
It has really grown since we were last here. The shuttle was on the launch pad ready for Saturday's planned take-off, but we could only see the tip of the orange fuel tank as it's so far away.

We walked through the space station observation room and watched some people working on the space station. Didn't get photo's as no flash allowed and I couldn't work out how to switch it off LOL!!
Had a great day but really tired now. Speak to you soon.

The entrance looks like the space station with astronauts working on it!
Taken from the bus....
PS don't know what happened with the last post tried to fix the spaces but all the text had gone as well (??). M wanted to go on the big ride with the arrows showing how high the people are but Dad said no as he had " just had dinner" needless to say he is still going on about going on it but I think I would have a heart attack if they went on it, so need to talk him out of it aaaaaggggg.........
