Sleepy head.
Went shopping in the afternoon, I got dropped of at a craft shop and they came back for me later yipee no one checking what I'm buying LOL!! We did take a peak in a massive sports shop, makes JJB look tame, they sold everything from boats to ping-pong balls and of course they had a huge shooting and hunting section. The fish bait was enormous and I can't imagine the size of the fish you would catch using this size of bait.
Last night we went to Carraras Italian Grill (you can Google it!) for dinner it was lovely. they had a happy hour on and I was tempted by a few cocktails but as we were heading up to Universal afterwards I decided I better not :(
The meal was lovely we had pasta M had his usual Pizza, when the sever came with the (soft) drinks she said I'll be back with some bread. She put a basket of hot sliced crusty Italian bread on the table and a plate of heaped herbs, she then poured olive oil over the herbs and we dipped the bread into it - yum, yum. It was so good I asked what the herbs were - oregano, basil, rosemary, crushed black and red peppercorns, garlic and salt, I must try this when we get home but no doubt it won't taste as good!
We headed up to Universal afterwards to watch the light and fireworks show which was great we had front row positions so saw it all. we also went on the Twister ride but M didn't like it, he has been doing so well with his hearing I had almost forgotten he has sensitive hearing. We were right at the front of the twister show and he freaked a bit so we had to go to the back and he covered his ears the whole way through it - same with the fireworks it must be awful for him.
They were also testing the new Rip Rockit ride, so it must be further on than it looked a few days ago, it looks really scary but spectacular as well (not that i would ever go on it:))
Off to get some food then heading to watch some 4th July celebrations.
